2000
  • First official course with ABC Technologies de Mexico, S.A. de C.V.
2001
  • BiCon, S.A. is founded in Guatemala City
2002
  • BiCon, S. A. changes his name to Intelligencia y Estrategia de Negocios, S. A. (commercial name BiCon)
  • SAS Institute Inc. Acquires ABC Technologies, Inc.
  • Beginning of the affiliation to the alliance program of SAS Institute Inc.
  • BiCon’s Compass ver 1.0 software is released for activity survey and conceptual assignation rules mapping to support ABC/M projects.
2003
  • First invitation for BiCon in order to participate as speaker at Bettermanagement LIVE Latin America, in Mexico City.
2004 Projects were started in:

  • Colombia
  • México
  • Nicaragua
  • Panamá
  • Venezuela

We worked with Sugar Plant to develop 21 ABB line of business models and 3 levels of consolidated models (Plant, Country and Corporate)
2005
  • We were awarded as the best Latin American Partner by SAS Institute (Latin American Field Choice).
  • We started to work in Costa Rica.
  • Event organization with Brett Knowles in Guatemala City.
2006
  • We started to work in Honduras.
  • Event organization with Gary Cokins.
  • The Holding Business Consulting Group creation process was started.
2007
  • We completed the certification process in the competition of Data Management in Business Intelligence of Microsoft.
  • We started to work in Ecuador and Brazil.
  • First Management exchange is held in Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala (Participants from Guatemala, Costa Rica, Honduras, Ecuador and Mexico).
2008
  • Second Management Exchange is held at Hotel Vista Real, Guatemala (Participants from Guatemala, Colombia, Costa Rica, Honduras and Ecuador).
  • We started to work with SAS Canada on several projects in Toronto.
  • We achieved the level of Business Intelligence Microsoft Certified Partner.
  • We invested in our first own headquarters at Zona Pradera Torre 4, level 7.
2009
  • We renewed the  Business Intelligence Microsoft Certified Partner levelWe signed an agreement with FusionWorks (Puerto Rico) www.fwpr.com and Prophix (Canada) www.prophix.com.
  • Compass ver 2.0 software is  released for activity survey and conceptual assignment rules.
2009
  • We signed an agreement for a strategic alliance between BiCon from Guatemala and CPS from Argentina and maat Gknowledge from Spain.
